Online registration with pre-payment for Hungarian Open 2016 has been closed.

If you still would like to register you have 2 options:

1) Online registration with onsite payment
We re-opened the registration on the WCA website. You can register in all events you would like to compete and you can pay the registration fee onsite. This option will close on the 26th of October 2016, 20:00.

Steps of the online registration:

Create a WCA account (if you don't have one yet)

Provide your personal data (in the Notifications menu)

Connetct your WCA ID to your account (only if you competed at WCA competition before)

Register to the competition

Please note, that your registration will not be accepted and you will stay at the waiting list. We will send you an e-mail about your regsitration that we can accept it or not.
With this option, the registration fees are: Friday: 1.500 HUF, Saturday: 1.500 HUF, Sunday: 3.000 HUF.

If you register for the competition, but don't show up, afterwards you can only take part at competitions organized by us, if you pay this registration fee as well. Cancellation after the 26th of October, 20:00 is not possible.

2) Onsite registration with onsite payment
You can register at the venue as well (until we reach the competitors limit). Onsite registration is possible only in the Rubik's Cube (3x3x3) event. For all the competitors who register onsite it is mandatory to participate at the "Competition Tutorial" at 8:50.
With this option, the registration fee is: Rubik's Cube (3x3x3) event: 3.000 HUF

Incase we reach or approach the competitors limit, the 2) option can be limited or closed too.





Online registration with pre-payment -related rules:

1. Cancellation: If you register for the competition but you cannot come and you inform us by e-mail until the 30th of September, 2016. - 16:00, we will transfer back the 50% of the paid fee.

2. Editing registration with adding day: The same way as you paid your registration fee you need to pay the extra fee and write us an e-mail to the hungarianopen.info@gmail.com address until the 14th of October, 2016. - 16:00 with the events you want to add.

3. Editing registration with removing a day: Please write an e-mail to the hungarianopen.info@gmail.com e-mail address with the affected events and if you inform us before the 30th of September, 2016. - 16:00, we will transfer back the half of the fee.

4. Registrations without payments: The registrations without payments will be deleted after the deadline of the registration. (14th of October, 2016. - 16:00)

5. Payments without registrations or with incomplete registrations: If there will be payments without full WCA registrations after the deadline of the registration we will transfer back the 50% of the paid money to the back account the money is from.

6. Registration with WCA Accounts without connected WCA IDs: If you already have a WCA ID but you do not ask for pairing that to your WCA Account, your registration will be considered incomplete. (According to the 3. step of the Registration procedure)

7. Order of accepting registrations: We consider registration full, if the WCA registration is complete and the registration fee has been paid too. The acceptance of the registrations will be made after both of these conditions are met. The order of acceptances will be made according to the chronological order. (For example: If we have 199 accepted competitors, and you register at the WCA site as 200th, but your WCA registration is not full (for example: WCA ID is not connected to the Account) or your registration fee did not arrive yet, we will accept the first competitor in the line with full registration.)



Deadline of registration:
14th of October, 2016. - 16:00*

Competitors, under 18 years can only compete, if they have a signed parent consent. You can find a sample here: Parent consent

*This deadline applies to the changing requests about the registered events and to the grouping as well.
